Age Limit: Minimum Age - 21 Years; Age Limit 40 Years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and DWs of all Castes; 30 Years for Others (General).
Educational Qualifications: Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz. Must have passed S.S.L.C (Matriculation - 10th Class) Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies (or) to College Courses of studies. Candidates should possess knowledge of Tamil.
Selection Process: Written Examination (Objective Type). The question papers will be set in two types (i.e.) 1) General Knowledge (100 items) with General Tamil (100 items) and 2)General Knowledge (100 items) with General English (100 items).
